The AARP Health Screening Program provides blood pressure and glucose screening beginning in October  on the third Wednesday of the month from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.  and continues each month through April in the Lime and Palm rooms. Sign-in will take place outside the Palm room, weather permitting. (Sign-in will take place in the Gallery during inclement weather.)

Screenings will be performed by Hawthorne EMTs. Our hope is that by including the EMTs in our program, you will develop a rapport with them and feel comfortable calling for assistance when needed.

Hearing screenings will be conducted by  Beltone Hearing Care Center of Leesburg..

In addition to health screenings, a Hawthorne resident will be available to laminate medical cards for you by appointment.

Each person taking part in the screening will be given a card on which they can track their screening results. We are hoping that many of you will take part in this program.
